What Is Onero™?

Developed through research at Griffith University, Onero™ is a scientifically proven exercise program for improving bone health.
It focuses on high-impact and resistance-based training under professional supervision — helping your bones and muscles adapt and grow stronger safely.

At Rebound, our Exercise Physiologists have been specially trained in Onero™ delivery, so every session is tailored to your ability, goals, and medical background.

How It Works

We guide you every step of the way — from assessment to measurable results.

  1. Initial Bone Health Assessment
    We start with a one-on-one consultation to understand your history, current bone health, and confidence with movement.
    Together, we’ll design a safe, individualised plan.

  2. Personalised Onero™ Plan
    You’ll attend two 45-minute supervised sessions each week in our clinic, focusing on progressive loading and functional movement.
    You’ll also receive a short home program for between visits.

  3. Track Your Progress
    Every 12 weeks, we reassess your strength, balance, and confidence — so you can see and feel your progress.

Is it safe for people with osteoporosis?
Yes — every session is supervised by an Accredited Exercise Physiologist who understands your medical condition and adjusts exercises to your ability.

What if I haven’t exercised in years?
That’s okay. Most of our clients start with no gym experience. We start slow and build safely.

Do I need a doctor’s referral?
Not necessarily, but it’s helpful if you have recent bone scans or reports. We can also communicate directly with your GP or specialist if you wish.

How soon will I see results?
Most people feel stronger and more confident within 4–6 weeks, with measurable improvements in 3–6 months.
